Telegram Integration

SHOPLINE is releasing a brand-new channel integration that allows merchants to integrate their Telegram accounts.

Merchants can send and receive Telegram messages in the Message Center after completing the integration. Merchants can select the products in the Message Center and send them to customers with the message template, which efficiently increases communication and boost the order completion process.

In this article, you'll find:

 

1. How to link Telegram account

Step 1

On the left menu bar, go to [Channel] > [Telegram] to enter the Telegram integration page.

Click the Link now button to begin Telegram authentication.

Step 2

1. Choose the Telegram account you want to link.

2. Set up your API token for Telegram.

Note: Out of two types of Telegram APIs, SHOPLINE utilizes the Bot API to use messages as the interface. Telegram Bot is a unique account that uses API tokens to log in without the need for a mobile phone number.

3. Linked successfully

4. Click Add link to connect with other Telegram accounts.

NOTE:

  • 1 store can link with maximum 10 telegram accounts.
  • 1 API token can only link with 1 store at the same time.

2. How to send and receive Telegram messages in Message Center

 

After the integration, go to theSHOPLINE Admin > [Message Center]. Click on the Telegram icon on the left bar to enter the conversation page.

3. How to unlink Telegram account

If you want to unlink the Telegram account, select the linked Telegram account and click Unlink to disconnect. Confirm your disconnection in the pop-up window.
