*Note:

If your store theme is currently using Brooklyn, Simple, Pink, or Audio, you will not be able to use the smart landing page tool normally. It is recommended that you use another theme to use the tool.

There are three steps to edit the landing page:

  • Select a template
    • At present, we have a Christmas-style template (Template selection is expanding in progress). After selecting a template for the page, the color, font, and some component styles of the page will change according to the template.
  • Apply the theme of your choice
    • After this option is enabled, some templates will be unavailable for your store. When you create a landing page, the font, component color, and other related configurations of the current page item will be consistent with the current store theme. For example, if the current theme background color is black, the landing page background color will also be black.
    • If you have applied the store theme, you will not be able to select certain landing page templates to avoid conflicts.
  • Header and footer aligned with store format
    • When merchants select this option, the landing page align the header and footer with the style of the store. The header and footer cannot be modified in the editor.

There are 3 types of metrics on the dashboard:

Metric Calculation

Page View (PV)

Page View

Note: There is no restriction stating that the landing page must be a current page item

For example, the current landing page is A.

If the customer's path is Homepage > Landing page A > Product detail page > Landing page A. The page view will be counted as +2.

Metric will be attributed to the hour dimension, regardless of the session creation time

Visit/Session Count

Note: Page A will not be restricted to be the landing page.

For example, if the customer's path is Homepage > Product detail page > Page A. It will be counted as +1.

Note: The metric will be fixed to be the count of the previous day.

Bounce Rate

For a session whose landing page is the target page of the current page item, the bounce rate = The number of sessions that have not visited any other pages after visiting the landing page divided by the number of all sessions that have visited the landing page.

  • The bounce rate will restrict landing page A to the "landing page".
  • If the first visit of the session is landing page A, the page view = 1.
  • If landing page A is the "landing page",
    • Numerator: The number of sessions that have not visited any other pages after visiting the landing page
    • Denominator: The total number of sessions that visited the landing page
